Based on the results of risk assessment, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs approved that 28 regions including Bogotá, Distrito Especial, Amazonas, Antioquia, Atlántico, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Casanare (except La Salina and Sácama), Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Guainia, Guaviare, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nari?mo, Putumayo, Quindio, Risaralda, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupes, Vichada (except monitoring zones) in the Republic of Colombia were immune areas without foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), which will enter into force on the day of issuance (see annex). The original Announcement No. 5 of Year 1990 on the Ban of FMD Epidemic in the above 28 regions in the Republic of Colombia promulgated by the Office of State Prevention and Control of Major Animal Epidemic Diseases Headquarters shall be terminated simultaneously
